Pets are great to have around. They are a lot of fun to play with and they keep you company when you are lonely among the many other things that pets provide to a person's life.

But sometimes pets can get ill and then they are more of a responsibility than a good time. But it is important to know the signs of a sick pet in order to help them.

Even though pets are fun when they are healthy, it is your responsibility as a pet owner to take care of them when they aren't so well. That comes along with the territory.

When a cat is urinating frequently and loses weight it could very well have feline diabetes. An owner should go to a vet to decide how to deal with such a condition.

If cats or dogs sneeze often it could be that they have developed allergies to any of a number of things in the air or on the ground. You might consider taking it out of that environment.

It is important to use common sense and recognize any differences in the behavior of your pet. If you are aware of changes you can address the issues.
